Another great trade show in the books! It was a pleasure connecting with so many industry professionals at the Tennessee Water Well Association Trade Show last week! We enjoyed discussing groundwater sampling solutions and showcasing Aqua Bailers' products. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth!

A new USGS study shows that PFAS contamination in groundwater is more widespread than many people realize. These "forever chemicals"—found in non-stick cookware, food packaging, and firefighting foam—don’t break down easily and have been linked to health concerns. Key findings: ?? Florida and California have some of the highest risks for public water supplies. ?? Private well users in Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, New York, and Ohio could be at higher risk. ?? The study used over 1,200 groundwater samples to predict contamination patterns across the U.S. If you rely on a private well, testing your water regularly is crucial since PFAS aren’t always regulated in private water supplies. If you do groundwater sampling, you know how important it is to use the right tool for the job. Pumps work well for high-volume sampling but come with higher costs and maintenance. Bailers? They’re simple, reliable, and cost-effective—making them the go-to choice for most sampling needs. We broke it all down in our latest blog. Check it out here: https://lnkd.in/e-ehvZYG What’s your go-to method? Let us know in the comments!

Grasslands play a crucial role in Earth’s water cycle, but climate change is forcing them to adapt. A recent study highlights how drought, elevated CO2, and warming disrupt soil structure and water movement, leading to faster runoff and reduced atmospheric cooling. At Aqua Bailers, we’re committed to understanding these changes and their impact on our environment. Learn more about this important research: https://lnkd.in/dYCqDqkG

It is World Soil Day! Did you know? - Over 95% of the food we eat comes from soil. - Soil stores more carbon than all the world’s plants and atmosphere combined. - It takes over 500 years to form just 2 centimeters of topsoil, but it can be lost in moments through erosion. This year’s theme, "Measure, Monitor, Manage," reminds us that soil is much more than dirt—it’s a vital resource we must protect. By measuring and monitoring soil health, we can take meaningful action to reduce degradation, support biodiversity, and secure the resources we all depend on. Sustainable practices like reducing erosion, adding organic matter, and preserving soil biodiversity are essential steps to ensuring healthy soil for future generations. Let’s care for the ground beneath our feet and build a healthier planet. ??
