  • What a fantastic couple of events with our Young Professionals! ?? From testing knowledge at Trivia Night to letting off steam with some friendly axe throwing, we’re thrilled to see the connections being built beyond professional commitments. Big congratulations to Jean-Claude Ebrard from the City of Ventura for winning our second annual Axe Throwing competition! ???? Participants didn’t stand a chance against him and Caleb Frahm, EIT from MNS Engineers, Inc., going head-to-head. Thank you to everyone who attended and made these events a success – we can’t wait for even more great times together! #APWA #VenturaCounty #YoungProfessionals #TriviaNight #AxeThrowing #Community

Thanks to APWA Ventura County Chapter for inviting me to speak at last month's luncheon! My presentation, titled "Funding Sources Available for Water Resources Projects in Ventura County," marched through local, state, and federal funding opportunities for local water projects and the environmental review requirements associated with each. It was great to connect with local public works agencies and engineering partners. Rincon Consultants, Inc. is a proud APWA sponsor! (Also, big thanks to Rosalyn Prickett for developing the presentation with me.)
