?? Endless Aisle. Available-to-Sell. Omni-Native. Aptos ONE. ?? Via Aptos OMS or third-party solutions, Aptos ONE provides access to near real-time “Available-to-Sell” (ATS) inventory in the current store, in nearby stores or across a retailer’s entire enterprise. Due to store size limitations and other reasons, some retailers are unable to carry their full product assortment in each store. With Aptos ONE, retailers can easily sell products not found in that store or that are out of stock in that location. We typically refer to this as ‘endless aisle.’ During endless aisle transactions, it’s critically important for retailers to ensure the inventory is available elsewhere, as well as to commit that inventory to the sale once completed to help keep their ATS position as accurate as possible. Failure to do this effectively can result in cancelled sales, frustrated shoppers and eroded brand trust. With Aptos ONE, when inquiring on an item, we call the source for inventory availability to confirm the item is available to sell to the customer. We also check again when completing the sales transaction to ensure one more time that the item is still available to sell.
