Please join us in welcoming Stephanie Fussell to our team! Stephanie joins us as a scientist in our Training, Learning, and Readiness department. When we asked her why she chose to work at Aptima, she said "Aptimists brought me here: Working alongside Summer Rebensky and Shawn Turk at the GRILL. Meeting Isabella Perault at HFES. Getting to know people over trivia in Dayton. The passion for the research and the company itself was always clear. When Summer first asked if I would be interested in working with Aptima, I already knew the answer was 'yes' based on being around Aptimists and their work. Then I learned more about the culture, the values, and the goals of the company. And I still knew the answer was 'yes.' The things that make Aptima stand out, including the human-centered approach, use of interdisciplinary-expertise, and a commitment to accelerate learning while pushing innovation, all resonate with me. These things excite me. I am excited to grow with a company that has values and goals which align with my own." Stephanie embodies the collaborative spirit and innovative thinking that defines Aptima. We're excited for the journey ahead! We are thrilled to share that our IRONPIPE solution was selected as one of two winners in the 2024 Army Digital Transformation Challenge! This marks an incredible milestone as Aptima's THIRD industry challenge win within 12 months. The IRONPIPE platform, developed by Aptima, is an IoT-based, cloud-integrated system that addresses digital transformation challenges in distributed operational environments. By consolidating data from environmental, human, and machine sensors into a unified Common Operating Picture (COP), and introducing Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) capabilities, IRONPIPE revolutionizes how critical insights are generated and accessed. This win follows our success with Team NAUTICAL in the Navy Ready, Relevant Learning Challenge and Team SafeGuard/Shield's victory in the OIB Modernization Challenge in partnership with NextFlex. It has been an incredible year of innovation and recognition for our teams! Congratulations to everyone who contributed to these groundbreaking solutions. Your dedication to pushing boundaries and delivering transformative technologies continues to set new standards in our industry.
