This past weekend, the APT DC annual symposium continued, as volunteers participated in a cleaning day at historic Oak Hill Cemetery in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, DC. The cleaning, sponsored by PROSOCO, Inc., focused on a number of monumental granite and marble headstones, which feature animals, anchors, urns, crosses, obelisks, and more. Some of the volunteers even got to clean the headstones of their family members! Thanks to everyone who participated, as well as our excellent host and sponsor, and we look forward to more volunteer days like this in 2025! #aptdcchapter

This year's conference focused on Monuments and Memorials, and included eight sessions on various topics related to the theme, as well as tours of the World War I Memorial and Arlington House. THANK YOU to our attendees, speakers, members, sponsors, and excellent host, the Military Women's Memorial, for making it a fun, informative, and successful symposium! #aptdcchapter
