Another Maiden made her debut in Richmond CA today. The Lake Qaraoun discharged 2,498 Subaru units into the Point Potrero Automobile Terminal. Always a pleasure to work a new vessel and see clean LNG powered vessels plying their trade into our ports.

APS Team Texas were thrilled to attend the Grand Opening of VW’s new facility in Freeport Texas today. We have been discharging cargo into this facility since the move from Turning Basin in February and it’s wonderful to see all the finishing touches have been completed and everything is fully operational. We look forward to many more years of partnership and continued growth with VW Transport and VW America all around the US.

As promised, our second "Maiden of August" arrived in Portland OR. on Wednesday. Saic Anji Harmony carried 2,503 GM units to the AWC Processing facility at Berth 607. She is another 'green' LNG powered vessel that we look forward to seeing many times on this trade.

August has a couple of 'Maidens' visiting us on their first voyages. August 9th we welcomed the FUTURE WAY to Tradepoint Atlantic in Baltimore to discharge 1,666 VW/Audi/Porsche and Lamborghini units. It's exciting to see new, clean and green tonnage being delivered to ensure the health of our business long term. Stay tuned for one more Debutante before the end of the month!

Since the tragic collapse of the Key Bridge on March 26th APS Stevedoring has been working tirelessly to keep RORO cargo in Baltimore, and flowing through our terminal at Tradepoint Atlantic. Alongside servicing our regular customers, we have worked additional vessels unable to reach their original destinations at Chesapeake, Atlantic, Dundalk and South Locust Point facilities. In doing so we have prevented over 12,000 cars and heavy equipment pieces from being diverted to other ports. This has only been made possible by the efforts of our partners at Steamship Lines, Vehicle Manufacturers, Tradepoint Atlantic and ILA Locals 333 and 953. Rest assured our whole team will continue to handle as much cargo locally as we can, create opportunity to work, and keep Baltimore Strong!

We are thrilled to share that we were acknowledged as an ‘Elite Partner’ at the Hyundai Glovis Conference in Temecula this week. Our partnership with Glovis is very important to us, and the opportunity to network with their team and other partners during the event was appreciated. We are very grateful to our dedicated team at APS who made this happen and to Glovis for the many opportunities we have to work together with them Nationwide.
