At last night's PMA Safety Award Banquet, our Richmond team picked up a few awards. We are thrilled that the facility was not only the Group C Winner in Northern California, but also took the Coast Award for Group C Stevedores. Its fantastic to see the dedication, engagement and focus that our entire team put into safety in Richmond has been recognized with these awards. I think you can tell Chad Freitas our Operations Manager was proud to collecting this impressive haul!

A new trade lane opened up via Portland OR today as APS Stevedoring carefully loaded GM product bound to Japan onto the Violet Ace for Glovis Nice to see the classic American Corvette heading into a new market from the West Coast.

A great start to servicing our customers in 2025. January 2nd saw the Heroic Ace working for Glovis in Brunswick GA, Jacksonville FL coming out swinging with Grimaldi's Grande Tema and Volkswagen's Siem Aristotle and on the West Coast Portland OR discharged the Eurasian Highway for K-Line. No better way to start a New Year off!

Another Maiden made her debut in Richmond CA today. The Lake Qaraoun discharged 2,498 Subaru units into the Point Potrero Automobile Terminal. Always a pleasure to work a new vessel and see clean LNG powered vessels plying their trade into our ports.

APS Team Texas were thrilled to attend the Grand Opening of VW’s new facility in Freeport Texas today. We have been discharging cargo into this facility since the move from Turning Basin in February and it’s wonderful to see all the finishing touches have been completed and everything is fully operational. We look forward to many more years of partnership and continued growth with VW Transport and VW America all around the US.

As promised, our second "Maiden of August" arrived in Portland OR. on Wednesday. Saic Anji Harmony carried 2,503 GM units to the AWC Processing facility at Berth 607. She is another 'green' LNG powered vessel that we look forward to seeing many times on this trade.

August has a couple of 'Maidens' visiting us on their first voyages. August 9th we welcomed the FUTURE WAY to Tradepoint Atlantic in Baltimore to discharge 1,666 VW/Audi/Porsche and Lamborghini units. It's exciting to see new, clean and green tonnage being delivered to ensure the health of our business long term. Stay tuned for one more Debutante before the end of the month!
