When I put the bat signal out that I was rolling into Charlotte, one of the first people to say “we need to meet” was Brandon Grant from the City of Charlotte. Our calendars weren’t aligned until today. I had the absolute pleasure of joining him and Sherri Jones along with @Sylvia Jones from ApprenticeshipNC to talk apprenticeship. I was not only impressed by their success (63 registered apprentices) but I was even more impressed by their vision for the future. As the only municipality in the country that is an apprenticeship ambassador, they are paving the way for others to follow. The Queen City and the State of North Carolina are growing apprenticeship, one apprentice at a time! Thank you Brandon for making this meeting happen and I look forward to continued engagement! #apprenticeshipworks #apprenticeshipisforeveryone
