What a remarkable learning experience Team Applied had at the "La Identidad: Hispanic/Latiné Heritage Month Virtual Tour" on Tuesday, Oct. 8, facilitated by Unexpected Virtual Tours and Training! Through this 60-minute interactive journey, our team had the privilege of tracing the pivotal influences of the Chicano movement and understanding its crucial role in bringing Hispanic civil rights to light. The storytelling about the evolution of this socio-political phenomenon was highly informative and thought-provoking. And to add to that, we virtually explored significant monuments and sites in Los Angeles, which added a new perspective to our understanding of the rich Hispanic heritage and the historical context of its evolution. We truly believe such multicultural learning opportunities help us to gain new perspectives, foster cultural empathy, and broaden our global understanding – values that we hold dear at Team Applied. We had nearly 50 people in attendance and we took a group photo with those that had their cameras on! ?? #HispanicHeritageMonth #TeamApplied #ThisIsWhatMatters
