Along with my colleagues Adam Kinsey, Gerri Anselmo-Gallagher, and Samir Shah I drew together some thoughts on the Strategic Emergence of Site Networks in clinical research. You can read the full article here at Applied Clinical Trials Magazine: https://lnkd.in/e_Ai9PRY There's no question that the site landscape is moving, and we thought it important to try to set out a framework for how to understand and navigate it what is happening, and why. As I've written before, I see site consolidation as not just a trend but a strategic necessity, helping sites tackle operational pressures and financial challenges. While many industry leaders are embracing site networks, I recognize that smaller organizations often worry about risks, complexity, and costs. It's essential for sponsors to find a balance between operational efficiency and localized expertise. I believe that continued consolidation, along with strategic partnerships and risk-sharing models, will shape what happens next. Special thanks to Lesly Atlas, Pam Sobotka, Anne Lawrence, Sean Jensen, and Gloriana Ordó?ez Carboni for their important contributions. Thoughts, reactions, comments are always welcome.
