At its foundation stand the?National Institutes of Health (NIH)?and the?National Science Foundation (NSF), institutions that?power breakthroughs in medicine, transform patient outcomes, and cement American leadership in biopharma. It’s been an extraordinary privilege to work alongside Dr. W. Kimryn Rathmell who today announced her departure as National Cancer Institute (NCI) Director. Her priorities included addressing the rising incidence of early-onset cancer, reducing inequities in cancer care, and inspiring the next generation of cancer researchers.
