    Trade show season is in full swing, and I’m all in. Just wrapped up one expo and already gearing up for RoofCON next week… and yeah, I’m pretty much living for it. Some people hit trade shows just to wander, but if you’re like me, you go with a game plan—and let’s be real, the right tools make all the difference. For me, Apollo.io is the ultimate trade show hack. It’s taken the pre-show hustle and post-show follow-up to a whole new level, and the ROI? Legit. Here’s how it works for me, and how it can work for you too. Pre-show: I’m on Apollo researching who’s attending and hitting up the right people on LinkedIn. By the time I hit the floor, I’ve already got meetings lined up (3 at FABTECH before I even walked in). Way easier when you know who you’re gonna talk to.     10 Rules of Prospecting with Tom Alaimo ?? Last month, we learned from the one and only Tom Alaimo as he walked us through his 10 Rules of Prospecting! Here are some of the key takeaways that can take your sales game to the next level: 1?? Start with Problems: Always understand the problems your ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) faces. Problem-based research is essential for relevant outreach. 2?? Nail Your ICP & Use Triggers: Find the right accounts and use timely triggers (like job changes, competitor usage, or engagements with your marketing) to make your outreach even more impactful. 3?? Why You? Why Now?: Always answer these questions in your outreach. Show why you’re the solution and why NOW is the right time to engage. 4?? Pace, Length & Tone: Slow down your outreach, keep your emails short (under 5 sentences), and match your tone to the prospect for better engagement.
