Function: This position reports to the IT Support Supervisor and is responsible for staff support and maintenance regarding hardware, software, printers, voice systems support, and other necessary IT related devices. Maintain and troubleshoot network printers. ? Install software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches, fixes, and resolve any related problems. REQUIRED?Qualifications and Skills ? Sound knowledge of Windows 10/11 and MS Office 365. ? Knowledge of Active Directory Users, Groups, and Permissions. ? Able to troubleshoot and configure workstations in a Windows networking environment. ? Must have a basic understanding of networking principles and concepts. ? Exceptional conceptual and analytical problem-solving abilities. ? Experience in non-standard auto insurance a plus. ??3+ years related work experience in a Windows-based network environment. ? Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively multi-task. ? Well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities. ? The ability to work under critical deadlines. ? The position requires in-depth interviewing skills, exceptional customer service, and the ability to capture thorough, relevant information to make a claim decision. They establish and maintain customer connections by understanding and meeting their needs and ensuring empathy and proactive communication. The adjuster documents claim files with notes, evaluations, and their decision-making process, and substantiates and negotiates losses. This position will report to the first-party manager. Key Responsibilities ? Manage investigation and settlement of first party auto claims.? ? Conduct thorough coverage analysis ? Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle auto claims, including verification of coverage and extent of property damage.? ? Maintain a diary system, capturing all required data; document claim file activities in accordance with established claims handling standards. ? Complete thorough recorded statements of all potential claiming parties and material parties; consult with agents, witnesses, law enforcement, fire department personnel, vehicle service providers, and forensic specialists. ? Communicate with insureds,agents,lien holders, and other vendors to secure information needed to bring a claim to a conclusion. ? Ensure the integrity of investigations by developing accurate and relevant investigation material and data acquisition. ? Ensure adequacy of reserves, confirm or deny coverage, and advise policyholders as to the proper course of action. ? Manage file inventory to ensure timely resolution of cases. ? Control associated claims for rental/loss of use and storage. ? Issue payments to the appropriate parties within the timeframes established in the Claims Handling Standards. ? Possess proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite. ? Perform other duties, as needed. Qualifications ? Strong moral character and work ethic ? Excellent customer service skills? ?
