Welcome to the APMP Greater Midwest Chapter (GMC). Originally founded in 2003, GMC serves the Greater Midwest region, which is comprised of the following states: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Although we officially serve these twelve states, we have members all over the map. Any APMP member can join our chapter and/or meetings. Our mission is to provide value to our members through engaging content, professional development, and networking. We strive to engage our members with valuable education, tools, and resources that not only advance your professional knowledge and experience in the proposal industry but also increase your engagement with APMP and our membership overall. The GMC Board of Directors and Committee Members are dedicated to making GMC valuable for our members. We offer a variety of professional development and networking opportunities through our various programs, resources, and events including: Monthly Webinar Series Quarterly Newsletters Social Media and Website Blog Posts Member Resources Local Member Meetups Mentorship Program Certification Study Group Consultant Virtual Networking Group Quarterly Book Club Annual Symposium Our programming is designed to help our members learn from experts and each other, and we offer lots of opportunities for our members to earn CEU’s to maintain their APMP certification. Mentor/mentee pairings and relationships are foundational to the program. After applying as either a mentor or a mentee, you will be matched according to your region, industry, job function, background, and goals.
