I had the fortune of spending the day at Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP with 40 creators, disrupters and ecosystem builders diving into innovation, sports, media, entertainment, and ethics and AI. The group I was a part of spent the better part of the day in spirited discussion on the elements of an equitable innovation framework for technology and beyond. We kept coming back to one basic thing: value. Today, value is defined in almost exclusively economic terms by those with the means to fund innovation. It was refreshing to be part of a group willing to explore the other aspects as well. Even more refreshing was a venture capital fund willing to create the platform for such discussions to be had.
