Apeiron Labs is reimagining ocean monitoring by developing solutions to decrease the marginal cost and effort of ocean sensing by orders of magnitude. Our oceans play a significant role in the global economy, weather, and long term climate trends. The Blue Economy is currently estimated at $1.5 trillion and expected to double by 2030. However, our real-time knowledge of the oceans is woefully incomplete. Existing and emerging markets require 4D ocean data - volumetric data over time - which is prohibitively expensive to acquire with today’s technologies. We need radically innovative approaches. Our co-founders, Applied Invention and S2G Ventures, have a successful track record of creating and investing in some of the world’s most impactful technologies and companies. We are hiring.
