In Memoriam: Donald Shoup, Ph.D, FAICP. Donald Shoup was a Distinguished Research Professor in the Department of Urban Planning at UCLA. His research focused on land economics, public finance, transportation, and parking. As the Los Angeles Section of the American Planning Association, we would like to pay our respects to Dr. Shoup, thank him for his contributions to the field, and extend our condolences to his loved ones and the many lives in the APA Los Angeles Section that he touched.
