Finally recovering from the post-conference jetlag after The Apache Software Foundation #communityovercode NA 2024 in Denver. The #IoT track was a lot of fun especially as it was way less theoretical and generally showed how #OpenSource and specially Apache Open-Source can be used in the IoT space ... from Solar Cells, to Home-Automation right up to Industrial IoT use-cases. Happy so many people attended my talk on how we can use @Apache IoTDB Apache PLC4X and Apache TsFile to solve almost all of the major issues I have run into in the automation industry. On May 16, 2024, at the prestigious 40th IEEE International Conference on Data Engineering (ICDE 2024), a research paper from our community, "On Tuning Raft for IoT Workload in Apache IoTDB," was accepted and presented at the conference. ??
