Apache is honored to partner with the Misr El Kheir Foundation MEK to support increased access to clean water in Egypt. The partnership agreement to support two projects was signed by Apache Egypt’s midstream general manager, Chris Monk. Work will soon begin to upgrade a water network station in the Beni-Suef region which will improve water and sanitation for up to 350,000 people. In Minya, an additional 33 families will gain access to clean water connections. #Apache #Egypt ?

As an oil and gas producer, we know we have a role to play in expanding access to energy. In 2022 we entered into a multiyear partnership with the Clean Cooking Alliance (CCA), an international nonprofit increasing accessibility to clean cooking for billions of people around the world. “As a nonprofit leader and entrepreneur, being able to connect with other clean cooking innovators through programming facilitated by CCA has been essential,” said Lovans OWUSU-TAKYI, a Ghanaian business owner who founded Sustainable Energy Technologies (Setech) in 2019. “The solution to Africa’s energy access challenges can be discovered and implemented by African-manufactured clean cooking tools, which we have improved in the last few years.” Read more here: ? #APASR24?#Sustainability #ESG

Our team in the U.K. recently partnered with Camphill School Aberdeen to plant 2,500 trees donated through the Apache Tree Grant Program. ? The school, which supports children and young adults with learning difficulties and additional support needs, applied for the trees to support a flood prevention initiative on their site. More than 20 Apache volunteers joined the team at Camphill on World Mental Health Day to plant the trees along the riverside. #ApacheLovesTrees #TreeGrantProgram #Scotland

Employees recently volunteered at Houston #EnergyDay, where hundreds of kids and their families learned about Apache and the origins of oil and natural gas. We were excited to help the Consumer Energy Education Foundation (CEEF) raise awareness of the importance of #STEM fields and the energy industry. Thank you to Jurassic James at the Houston Museum of Natural Science and the Apache employees who supported this fun, educational event!

We were recently given the Excellence in Lifting Operations award by the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA). The award recognizes the efforts of the Beryl Alpha team in the U.K. to lift and remove a 5.7 tonne motor that was not designed to be moved and ship it to the shore base for repairs. The project was complex and demonstrated the exceptional skill and experience of Apache’s offshore and onshore lifting specialists.?

Jessica Jackson, VP of EH&S, joined a panel at the North America Energy Capital Assembly to discuss Apache’s efforts to reduce emissions while meeting the world’s energy needs. She highlighted Apache’s focus on near-term and challenging goals to drive immediate and impactful results.?

Today, we announced the recipients of the Apache Corporation Tree Grant Program for the 2024-25 planting season. More than 134,000 trees will be donated across diverse eco-regions in Texas, New Mexico and Louisiana, reaching 52 non-profit partner organizations and beautifying hundreds of communities. Since 2005, over 5 million trees have been granted to more than 1,000 organizations. Some of our team in Egypt recently joined the judging panel for the Youth Leaders Foundation She Leads program. The judges evaluated 245 entrepreneurial ideas from 1,900 girls and selected the winning applications to move forward in the program. This initiative teaches girls in Egyptian vocational schools about the attributes and qualities required to become a successful entrepreneur. #Apache #SheLeads?

More than 100 local vendors attended Apache’s Supplier Diversity Day in our Midland office. The day-long exhibition was dedicated to expanding supplier outreach in the Midland-Odessa area and supporting diverse suppliers through the certification process.
