Today, we announced the recipients of the Apache Corporation Tree Grant Program for the 2024-25 planting season. More than 134,000 trees will be donated across diverse eco-regions in Texas, New Mexico and Louisiana, reaching 52 non-profit partner organizations and beautifying hundreds of communities. Since 2005, over 5 million trees have been granted to more than 1,000 organizations. Some of our team in Egypt recently joined the judging panel for the Youth Leaders Foundation She Leads program. The judges evaluated 245 entrepreneurial ideas from 1,900 girls and selected the winning applications to move forward in the program. This initiative teaches girls in Egyptian vocational schools about the attributes and qualities required to become a successful entrepreneur. #Apache #SheLeads?

Along with our partner TotalEnergies, we are pleased to announce that we have reached a positive final investment decision for the first oil development in Block 58, offshore Suriname. “I would first like to recognize TotalEnergies and Staatsolie Maatschappij Suriname N.V for their many contributions that have made today’s FID announcement possible,” said APA's chief executive officer John J. Nine Apache U.K. team members are volunteering to mentor students taking part in this year’s STEM in the Pipeline project, hosted by TechFest. Our president and CFO, Steve Riney, delivered opening remarks to welcome Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Karim Badawi, to a roundtable with industry leaders in Houston earlier this week. The minister confirmed Egypt’s drive to support the oil and gas industry and work with their partners, highlighting his focus on improving the country’s energy challenges. Mr. Riney spoke of our continued commitment to Egypt. We have operated in Egypt for more than 30 years and are the largest oil producer and onshore acreage holder in the country.
