APA Ohio is the oldest association of citizen and professional planners in the country. We are committed to promoting and enhancing planning in order to maintain and improve the quality of life for all Ohioans. APA Ohio is a state chapter of the American Planning Association (APA). We provide regional and statewide forums for investigation and discussion. These forums lead to practical, use-it-today solutions to planning and development challenges. APA Ohio encourages legislation and action programs to enhance sound planning at the state, regional and local levels. Over the past one hundred years, APA Ohio and its members have changed and evolved but our mission remains the same – to promote good planning for the betterment of all Ohioans.

When: Thursday, September 19th, 2024 starting at 4:00pm Where: Yard & Company Office - 1542 Pleasant Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202 Who: Chris Ashwell, Daniella Beltran, AICP Through engaging case studies and practical insights, attendees will learn how community stories enrich the planning process, foster inclusivity, and ensure that cities are designed in a way that resonates with the lived experiences of their residents. Please register by Tuesday, September 17th. Drinks will be provided! AICP planners can earn 1 CE credit for attending this event. Any APA member and non-member is welcome to attend. The event capacity is 50 people.
