Happy Vijaydashami?? Happy Durga Puma?? I was little unclear as to how Durga Puja and Dussehra coincide. Also, are they part of the same set of festival. Office is close. Otherwise, I would have asked my associate( Of course, one who hails from Bengal). And for other part, to other associates. Then I thought to make a call to understand this. it’s a little doubt. Then I thought, let’s use our guru ‘ Google’ - then I said forget all, let me ask AI. In a jiffy, I got answer which is simple and clear. Least amount spent. Answer from AI:- Durga Puja and Dussehra are both festivals that celebrate the victory of good over evil, but they are separate festivals with different regional focuses: DURGA PUJA This festival honors the goddess Durga's victory over the buffalo demon Mahishasura. It is celebrated primarily in Eastern India, including West Bengal, Odisha, Assam, and Bihar. Durga Puja is part of the larger Navratri celebrations, which involve worshipping the nine avatars of the goddess Durga. DUSSEHRA This festival marks the victory of Lord Rama over Ravana. It is celebrated more prominently in Northern and Western India. Dussehra is the culmination of the Navratri festival and the tenth day of Durga Puja.
