Project highlight: This project contains 380 tons of structural and miscellaneous steel. Spread over 42,000 square feet and built alongside Peter McCoy Construction Co. This residence is among the highest echelon of homes in the world, solidifying itself once the owner denied a $150 million dollar offer for the property. This home totals 5 structures, and contains 28 bedrooms and 36 bathrooms. Anvil Steel’s residential division is proud to have played a part in its inception!

Topping out party for the new 7 classroom kindergarten building at Will Roger’s Elementary School. This project included 250 tons of structural and miscellaneous steel. Huge shoutout to our Ironworkers, our shop, and our project manager Mariagiovanna Garbo!!!

This project is the first of two school projects with Balfour Beatty that incorporate rolled heavy HSS trusses as part of their structure. This one, Will Rogers Elementary School in Santa Monica, utilized two 5'-0 deep trusses over 30'-0 long with HSS16x12x1/2 and HSS12 x 8 x 1/2 as the main members, rolled to a tight 8'-0 radius by Paramount Rolling. The expert Project Management by Mery Garbo and the excellent detailing work by the Zamsa Group, Inc., were instrumental in getting this work to the site, ready for installation by Junior Steel.
