Exciting New Research Finding!??? Anumana is proud to collaborate with Mayo Clinic in advancing the capabilities of AI in healthcare, and we are thrilled to share the latest findings on the?Mayo?AI algorithm designed to detect hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) using?electrocardiogram?(ECG)?data. Recently?published?in the? European Heart Journal – Digital Health, the study?demonstrates?the high accuracy of the?Mayo?AI algorithm, tested across diverse international cohorts from Bern, Oxford, and Seoul. The model was trained using raw 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) data, and the results speak volumes: ? Sensitivity:?82.8%? ?? Specificity:?87.7%? ? Area Under the Curve (AUC):?0.922 What makes this breakthrough even more significant is the diversity of the cohort,?representing?populations from East Asia, Europe, and beyond. These findings not only?validate?the accuracy of the?Mayo?algorithm but also highlight its potential to?improve?HCM detection in clinical settings globally. Exciting news! After a dedicated effort by Anumana, we are thrilled to share that our groundbreaking ECG-AI? technology has been recognized by Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services with the assignment of the Low EF ECG-AI service to APC 5734 in the 2025 Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS) final rule. This means that Anumana’s ECG-AI? LEF solution will be billable to Medicare and Medicaid under APC 5734. This follows the milestone in 2023, when we successfully applied for Category III CPT codes (0764T and 0765T), establishing a place for ECG-AI technologies in patient care. Our team is committed to removing barriers to access and to accelerating adoption of the technology.
