Shout out to Amy Nauiokas and Bukie Adebo Umeano for representing the Anthemis Group team at this year's event, with Amy's deep dive discussion on AI with OpenAI's CFO Sarah Friar, and Bukie's live recording of The Richer Way podcast, discussing retail wealth management trends with Jaime Catmull and Saira Rahman.

We are thrilled to be joined by Manuel E., a Senior Associate at Outward VC, and Jeremy Brown, a Principal at Anthemis Group, for one of our Beyond Investing early-stage fintech workshops on 4th November. Manuel joined Outward VC in 2022 after founding an EdTech startup in NYC. With a background in engineering and entrepreneurship, he brings operational expertise to VC, appreciated by founders and co-investors. He leads deal flow, new investments, and portfolio support at Outward. Jeremy is an Investment Principal at Anthemis, focused on early and growth stage investments across Europe and North America. He is a former geophysicist and has been a venture investor in Silicon Valley, Berlin, and London. He has a background in deep technology investments spanning construction/built environment, energy, manufacturing, climate and life sciences. He’s particularly keen on these vertical intersections within fintech and insurtech. Manuel and Jeremy will be running reverse pitching workshops for early-stage fintech companies seeking to connect with VCs. They will present our investment theses and insights directly to fintech founders, flipping the traditional pitch format. Fintech founders will gain invaluable perspectives on what investors are looking for, refine their understanding of the funding landscape, and foster meaningful relationships.
