With $10,000 in funding, we are facilitating a 6-week Project ECHO series for BH providers, focusing on best practices for mental and behavioral health services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, in partnership with UNR Medical School's Project ECHO team.

We’re excited to announce $45,500 in funding to support a fully accessible community garden. NMTS clients will help maintain the garden, providing fresh produce to our community in a food desert. Together, we’re growing connections and opportunities for all!

Our organization is dedicated to creating a safe space and fostering a better life for immigrant survivors of domestic violence, trafficking, and abuse, along with their families in northern & rural Nevada. ?Yesterday, we were honored to join Senator Cortez-Masto and Spread the Word Nevada for an incredible book distribution event! Together, we handed out 1,500 books to students in an underserved community. Thanks to our sponsorship, each child received 2 used and 3 new books and will continue to receive 2 more books each month throughout the school year. Amazing community effort at our Biggest Little Baby Fair! Thanks to Katie Grace Foundation for 54 baby items, we had 24 raffle baskets. Our top prize, a crib worth $1,500, was won by a brave woman starting anew with her little one. Also, we distributed 10,000 diapers and welcomed 400+ people. This event shed light on folks often overlooked and brought unprecedented support.

We, at Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield Nevada, are proud to announce our support towards the 12th annual School Supply Drive, presented by Communities In Schools of Northern Nevada. For the first time this event was held in rural Winnemucca and Elko and was a huge success.?By providing the essential tools they need, we're helping to minimize the financial burden of families on purchasing the necessary school supplies and clothing. We believe that everyone should have an equal chance at education, and this partnership is a testament to this philosophy. We gratefully thank all those who joined us in this initiative and look forward to continuing our impact in the many years to come.

Everyone deserves access to quality care. This is essential for reducing health disparities and improving health outcomes in our communities. But we know that navigating healthcare can be tough, and barriers like mobility issues, lack of transportation, and costs can make it even harder. That’s why Anthem has partnered with Remote Area Medical - RAM? to bring care directly to our Cincinnati neighbors by hosting a health and wellness fair at St. Xavier High School over the weekend. Attendees received free, dental, vision, and medical care and screenings, and also connected with the many social service organizations and health providers onsite who provided information about local programs, services, and resources.
