Thank you to those who helped us raise $67,229 this year for the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP). This brings the total donations from our five tournaments to over a quarter million dollars! ???? 2024 Donation: $67,229 Total 5-year donations: $250,180 The day was highlighted by a morning ceremony that included the National Anthem sung by US Navy, Master Chief Larry "Chip" Alger accompanied by the Silver Dolphins color guard and a flyover dedicated to Charlie Walsh, the first militia man to fire his musket at our first tournament in 2019. ON-course drinks were supplied by Tito's Handmade Vodka and Beer'd Brewing. The evening ceremony commenced with an emotional rendition of God Bless America sung by Trina Vargas and was capped off with a live auction that raised thousands of dollars toward our donation. We were honored to have several Warriors in attendance including Danielle Green who was our guest speaker. Danielle (US Army veteran) spoke about her war experience and how the Wounded Warrior Project helped her after being injured in Iraq. Also in attendance was Mike Linnington, Lt. Gen. (Ret.), the former CEO of the Wounded Warrior Project from 2016 to 2024 who spoke about the importance of the Wounded Warrior Project. Mike is credited with the strong reputation and success of WWP since 2016.
