"Private LTE provides an added layer of security," Evergy Vice President of Distribution Ryan Mulvany said yesterday during the NARUC Winter Policy Summit in Washington, DC. Evergy's "private broadband network is the cheaper option for us now, and beneficial for the future," he added. ? Mulvany was joined by Anterix Chief Regulatory and Corporate Communications Officer Chris Guttman-McCabe at a panel moderated by Iowa Utilities Commission Chair the Hon. Erik M. Helland. The conversation highlighted how #privateLTE provides crucial end-to-end encryption for #utilities as they deploy tens of thousands of connected devices to the grid, all while boosting resilience, safety, and reliability, and delivering additional benefits for utility customers. ?
