Congrats to all the inspiring teams at iGEM Jamboree last week, including these two that our CTO, Sebastian Palluk, had to opportunity to speak with. We were excited to see another iGEM project tackling enzymatic DNA synthesis! The UBC iGEM team won a gold medal as well as the “Best Hardware” and “Best Sustainable Development Impact” awards with the project "nuCloud: The New Nucleotide-Based Data Storage Cloud," aiming for data storage applications. iGEM TU Darmstadt won a gold medal at the Jamboree this year for their effort on Bioremediation of PAHs (micellaway). It's been exciting to see so much innovation!
