Anniston Army Depot

In alignment with Department of Defense Instruction 5400.17 and recent Executive Orders issued by the President, the U.S. Army has reviewed and adjusted its social media content to ensure compliance with DoD policies and priorities. As a result, certain posts have been removed, are in the process of being removed, or modified to remain consistency with federal guidance and uphold the integrity of our official communication channels. Content will be archived in accordance with DA PAM 25-403. The U.S. Army remains committed to transparency, professionalism, and adherence to DoD directives while continuing to engage with our community in a manner that reflects our core values.

During their recent visit to the depot Dec. 16, Gen. Randy George, Army Chief of Staff, and Lt. Gen. Christopher Mohan, deputy commanding general and acting commander of the U.S. Army Materiel Command, toured several maintenance and rebuild facilities, handed out a few coins and stopped to engage members of our workforce, sharing his respect and appreciation for Anniston Army Depot. "What this workforce does on the ground, day-in and day-out, ensures a Combat Ready Army prepared to fight and win our nation's wars," he said. "Your work here means commanders have what they need to fight anywhere in the world, and, most importantly, it means our Soldiers have the confidence and trust in knowing they can depend on those weapon systems this workforce maintains and repairs."

2024 DOD Maintenance Symposium Senior representatives from Anniston Army Depot are participating in the 2024 Department of Defense Maintenance Symposium in Salt Lake City, Utah, Dec 10-13. Hosted annually by the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the symposium draws sustainment professionals from across the globe, including military, industry, academia, allies and partner nations to network and share technological advancements, emerging logistical and maintenance developments, supply chain resilience and dependability, and the Organic Industrial Base. Abby Quinn, deputy to the commander, and Tommy Morgan, director, Strategic Planning, are telling the depot story to the participants, focusing on our mission of maintenance and sustainment of weapon systems and equipment in support of the warfighter.?

Senior leaders from across the Army are getting ready to tackle some of the US Army's biggest #advancedmanufacturing issues at Rock Island Arsenal-Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center this week.
