The program is housed in the interdisciplinary Department of Global Arts, Media, and Writing Studies, which specializes in wide-ranging interdisciplinary research on human expressive culture. At the invitation of Desmond Patton, I recently had the honor and privilege to visit the University of Pennsylvania Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania and the School of Social Policy & Practice at the University of Pennsylvania with Greg Morris to offer a two-part series, Coming Together as a University Community in Challenging Times, on behalf of Compassion Institute. Here are a few pictures from the two days, one in October and the other in November. I am inspired by the faculty, staff and students at this University and across our nation. These are the current and future leaders who are compassionately evaluating current challenges and forging new paths forward with curiosity, collaboration and human connection at the core. Together, with our shared common humanity, there is a bright and joyful future ahead. To be clear, I was support to Greg’s skilled facilitation of both sessions. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Greg, and to collaborate with Desmond, Luisa Klemm Jacobsen, MBA , and the participants of the two sessions. You are all an inspiration to me!

Our objective: What are the important pain points practitioners in community organizations face when using evidence-based health communication campaigns to serve LGBTQ+ communities?
