Summer Intern Spotlight: It is Ray’s second summer with us. He has played a key role in supporting our Tides and Tunes Summer Concert Series and various other events. Ray’s dedication, commitment and support have not gone unnoticed—our event volunteers and docents hold him in high regard. As he heads into his final year at the University of South Carolina, we have no doubt that he will continue to achieve amazing things. Ray, thank you for all your hard work and best of luck in your future endeavors!

At the Annapolis Maritime Museum, we're not just preserving our Bay and maritime history—we’re also empowering the next generation to do the same. This summer, our Education interns and counselors have demonstrated remarkable dedication and passion. Many of our interns and counselors are interested in Environmental Education, Environmental Science, and Outreach. They’ve excelled in boating and sailing activities, enjoying their time on the Wilma Lee and kayaking. Several interns even learned to fish and kayak to effectively supervise and teach the kids. Our counselors have devoted countless hours to preparing and leading environmental and outdoor activities, creating lasting memories and enriching experiences for our campers. Thank you all for your hard work and commitment this summer!

Exciting news! The installation of another Maryland HydroNet sensor at the Annapolis Maritime Museum & Park marks a significant step in preparing communities for the impacts of climate change. We extend our sincere thanks to the UMD team for their collaborative efforts in overseeing this installation.
