What an incredible week I had attending the AnitaB.org Responsible AI conference, where I was in the room with researchers, thought leaders, and changemakers driving the conversation around generative AI.
From intimate breakout sessions to thought-provoking panels, I walked away with mind-blowing ideas; AND a deeper understanding of the ethical implications, equity concerns, and the need for more diverse voices in shaping the future of this powerful technology. Noelle R., thank you for sharing your story and our brief conversation. Looking forward to continuing this conversation soon.
As a founder working to inspire the next generation through STEM, these conversations aren’t just theoretical—they’re essential. The choices we make now will shape the tools our children grow up with. We need more builders, more educators, and innovators in these rooms. We need more voices to be a part of these conversations.
After each session, I was reminded of my “why” and the importance of the work that we do at BrainyBuilders. I left more informed, more motivated, more inspired, and even better—more empowered to shape the minds of my students.
I’m looking forward to continuing the journey and conversation around AI—and being in more rooms like this. It was certainly a pleasure meeting you Mahama Nyankamawu, PMP, PE , Gloria Bell, Chandrea B., and Wenhao Luebs
and others who I didn’t have a chance to meet, but saw you in the place Sergio Flores, CSM, ITIL, ICP-FDO ?? Chrystal Price and Kathy Jordan-Baker, PMP, PMI-PMOCP, SPC, ICP-ACC
Huge shoutout and heartfelt thank you to Brenda Darden Wilkerson and for your powerful vision and unwavering commitment to driving systemic change in our communities. Your leadership is both inspiring and necessary.
