One of our favorite projects in the last few years has been working with Orlando Informer to bring their mascot, Churro, to life.?As with all projects there certain challenges that required some special skills.?Churro is furry but also a bird.?Our finishing team developed a way of grooming the fur into feather shapes on the belly and the wings.?Another unique challenge with creating walk-around characters is making a 2D image fit a human body inside of it.?We take great care in developing characters that look close to the original intent yet still work ergonomically with performers. We’re very proud of the work that went into creating Churro and we love seeing him out in the world.?Look for him at your next event in Orlando. Discovery Global Experiences and NEON. Harry Potter, Visions of Magic opened in Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore in November of 2024.
