Co-op has ended the practice of eyestalk ablation in its supply chains and will adopt electrical stunning for all farmed shrimps by 2027. ?? Co-op joins a growing list of supermarkets — Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Marks & Spencer, Ocado, and Waitrose — leading the way in improving shrimp welfare. Factory farming is the norm, not the exception. In the U.S., the vast majority of animals raised for food are factory-farmed in intensive conditions. Swipe to see ??
