Delighted to announce the successful completion of the "Nepal Fellowship Program 2024", conducted by "Animal Alliance Asia". This transformative program focused on policy advocacy for the betterment of farmed animals. Through this fellowship, our team drafted policy paper addressing welfare issues during animal transportation. We are proud to share that this policy has been officially implemented by "Ratnanagar Municipality, Chitwan", setting a groundbreaking precedent for animal welfare in Nepal. This achievement marks a significant step towards a compassionate future for farmed animals. A huge thanks to Animal Alliance Asia for this incredible opportunity. We did our part to bring together some kind people together for celebrating the vegan month of November. Vegfest Mela's Musical Evening and Potluck was organised by Animal Alliance Asia at OLOMOPOLO Media in Lahore on the 16th of Novemeber 2024. Despite the smog and zero budget, we pulled off a memorable event thanks to the artists and community who believe in a better world. Communities are not built overnight, this is the result of years of work done in silence, and the support of many generous people. I am so thankful to M.Isfandyar Khan ,the band YarKhan and it's members who despite not feeling well and with an injury gave us his time and managed to keep the crowed engaged. Thankful to Alishba Kazi, who made sure that the beats are groovy and funky. Our community is filled with amazing talented folks and this event was a small showcase of that. And this event made me realise, that despite no funding for events like these, I will always keep my efforts for the movement. Because I believe that it's the people who build a movement. Budget or no budget, funds or no funds. Animals will be liberated for years to come! And that's my promise to the animals. #peace

Animal Alliance Asia is making waves of change through engaging university students in a discussion around plant based foods and kinder choices, for the first time in Pakistan. We engaged over a 100 students on campus at Karachi University and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. We have previously engaged many classrooms and non-vegans into this discussion for the future of humanity and animals. Here is to a brighter and kinder future! Asia Farm Animal Day (AFAD) 2024 was a phenomenal experience. I had the opportunity to meet my team members from Animal Alliance Asia in person, and meet people from other organisations in the animal advocacy space. I connected with brilliant people in the movement. This was a great chance for meetings with our wider team, board members, and other stakeholders in the movement. I would thank the AFAD team for their travel scholarship and kindness, because without their support this very important space and opportunity would have been impossible for me to be a part of. I have learned so much in the past few days and I cannot wait to apply it to my work.
