Let's talk about the contract you have with your social media platforms (including this one). It's called the "Terms of Service" and you probably won't like hearing this. But as a professional coach, course creator, content creator, it's imperative to understand how TOS works.

Has anyone asked for your "word of the year" yet? If you're committed to a Big Outcome, then "no" is your word of the year for 2025. What? How could "no" be the word of the year? isn't the word supposed to be "live laugh love" or something like that? I've had years with a theme like that and they've been awesome. But this year is about a Big Outcome. It's about 100% focus on what I want. That means I get the chance to say "no" to a lot of opportunities, requests, and offers that don't get me closer to what I want. BTW--there's no FOMO when you're 100% focused on your own Big Outcome. Let's have a "no thanks" party and tell me what you're excited to say "no" to ??

Gift giving season can be an emotional roller coaster. Even when you know someone well, it’s easy to misjudge what will delight them and what could fall flat. Handing over a gift when you aren’t sure what the response will be. And so it’s easy to go general. Scented candle for the teacher. Gloves for mom. Wallet for Dad. None of them are going to be offended by that gift. But none of them are going to be blown away by that gift either. Even if they appreciate the thought, the gift says, “I’m playing it safe.” Why play it safe with gift giving? Because the alternative is too scary! The wrong gift could be a waste of money, time, or just feel awkward. And leave both the giver and the recipient feeling disappointed and misunderstood. Maybe that’s why there are so many visionary coaches, consultants, and content creators who are trying to squish their gifts into a formula. Instead of taking a chance on their original viewpoint. If you'd like a chance to explore your vision for 2025, we're hosting a complimentary planning session with some of my favorite experts. And your starting point to make 2025 the year to share the gift of your unique point of view. More info and your invitation to join us at https://vist.ly/3mqv4sm

Imagine you pay big bucks for a chef to teach you their recipe for the best holiday turkey ever. You followed their instructions to the letter. But your turkey turned out to be dry and bland. Your first thought wouldn't be, "it's my mindset" would it? No, of course not! You'd check your ingredients, the instructions, your equipment. You'd ask the chef questions about what to change so you could get the result. Now imagine you find out that the "chef" never actually cooked a turkey themselves. Or that they were just copying other people recipes. Maybe they decided they could "hack the recipe" to make it shorter or use fewer ingredients and sell it to you. And then the chef starts blaming your mindset when you figure out their recipe was junk. You'd kick them to the curb if a chef tried to tell you "it was your mindset" that made the turkey too dry. If you wouldn't blame your mindset for a dry turkey, why would you let a 'bro coach' blame your mindset when they don't get you results? But I see that blame-game happening to a lot of creators and entrepreneurs. You don't need to be blamed for mindset. You need help with skillset to hit your business goals in 2025. And there's a lot of good entrepreneurs who feel embarrassed about the amount of money and time they invested in a "bad recipe" from the wrong "Bro Coach". We want to help you put together your recipe for success in 2025. So we're hosting 3 complimentary "Plan with the Pros" sessions during the first week of January. We're keeping each session to 15 seats or fewer so we can have real conversations about what's cooking for 2025. (I'll put a link to reserve a spot in the first comment) The one thing we ask is that if you sign up for a spot, you show up for your spot. No replay. No BS. Just support to start the year off right.

When the BOIR injunction was issued by a Federal court in Texas on December 3, 2024, people got pretty excited. I'm seeing a lot of posts saying that BOIR is done for. But it’s too soon to say, "ding, dong, BOIR is dead." Because there are a handful of BOIR challenges around the country. These are working their way through Federal courts in different geographic areas, called “circuits.” When federal courts in different parts of the country have cases challenging the same law, but give different opinions, this is called a “split between the circuits”. With the national injunction issued by the Federal court in Texas, we now have a split in the circuits. Meanwhile, Fincen is getting ready to appeal the injunction and the December 31, 2024 deadline has been paused. What does this all mean? We dive into more detail in the Happy At Law Group.
