?? Friends in Grand Rapids ?? Bamboo officially submitted plans to renovate the former UICA space into a 40,000 sqft hub for entrepreneurship and innovation. Our hope is to make this building accessible again to the community, filled with collaborative partners and resources. We look forward to making this a welcoming space for all, to bring back the movie theatre, and to open up the 4,000 patio space for coworking and events. So many people remember a wedding, a class, or attending a movie back in the day. This is a special space that holds importance and we know we can't bring it life again alone. We welcome feedback, ideas, and collaboration. Stay tuned for more updates and a community feedback session in December as we work to finalize this development with the city. Sports investing is exploding... Yesterday, Morgan Stanley announced a new portfolio for investors called the Parametric Custom Core Sports League strategy. Here are a few more details about the index: ? The portfolio will allow investors to invest in a curated index of companies with strong sponsorship, media, and advertisement ties to the most prominent sports leagues ? The holdings are selected from large-cap US equities and will consist of between 250 and 400 securities from companies that you may see on the sidelines, in the tickers, or among the advertisers of major sporting events ? Morgan Stanley says the portfolio will mimic the risk characteristics of the S&P 500 which tracks 500 of the largest companies listed on stock exchanges in the US ? It is aimed at high net-worth sports fans and individuals as there is a $250,000 investment minimum to participate The interest and upside in sports are evident and the biggest corporations in the world are paying attention.
