We are talking turkey today! It’s an honor each year to share with our community and ensure families and friends can share a holiday meal. Today our team began the process of distributing turkeys at several local community gathering places. Thank you to our team of volunteers for making this event a success!
Andrews Federal takes great pride in investing in the youth. Today, we partnered with an amazing organization called Invest in Girls, whose mission is to promote financial literacy among girls and increase the number of women in finance and related fields. Throughout the day, we provided mentorship and offered financial and career advice. We also discussed the services we can provide in the future. It was a pleasure having the girls with us, and we look forward to their next visit.
The mission and service never end. Our New Jersey branch staff joined forces to continue packing meals for families in the surrounding areas. They, along with our DC Metropolitan area staff, will be delivering meals that include turkeys next week. We look forward to helping those in need and spreading the holiday spirit.
It's almost that time of year! Today, we started packaging meals for our Annual Andrews Federal Credit Union Turkey Drive. We packed over 500 meals for churches and schools to support families in need. It is always a pleasure to serve our community and help make Thanksgiving possible for so many local families. Next week, we will begin delivering the meals along with turkeys and look forward to sharing the joy of the season with our communities.
