?? **A Historic Day in American Politics** ???? Today marks a significant moment in our nation's history as we reflect on the presidential election results. With Donald Trump's remarkable victory over Kamala Harris, the dynamics of this election have been shaped by various factors, most notably the Latino vote. As a Colombian immigrant, I am particularly moved by the impact of the Latino community in this election. The Latino male vote made a substantial difference, and it's inspiring to see Latin women also casting their ballots prioritizing their interests and values not a gender. This election is not just about numbers; it's about voices, stories, and the diverse tapestry that makes up our great nation. For me personally, this day holds even more significance as my twins, born here in the USA, are voting for the first time in a presidential election. Witnessing their engagement in democracy fills me with pride and gratitude. I feel incredibly blessed to call the United States my home and to be a part of this pivotal news coverage. The journey of immigration and the privilege of participating in the electoral process remind me of the resilience and strength of our communities. I am incredibly grateful to the Houstonian Review Magazine for featuring me as the cover story for their latest issue in celebration of Women's History Month. It is an honor to be recognized for my journey as a Colombian immigrant and broadcast journalist in the United States. From starting as a main news anchor for Univision in Houston to becoming a national and international correspondent, my career has been nothing short of a dream come true. I am also proud to celebrate Women's History Month, as it is a time to reflect on the achievements and contributions of women around the world. As a business owner with a PR and marketing boutique firm, I have been fortunate to combine my passion for journalism with entrepreneurship. One of my greatest accomplishments has been successfully balancing my professional career with raising my amazing twins Hadi Suheil and Dana Suheil, now 18 years old and thriving in college. None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of my lovely and unconditional parents, who have been by my side since my children were born. Their presence and assistance have allowed me to pursue my professional goals while still being there for my family.
