Congratulations to our November Teacher of The Month, Molly Markham! Molly has been the sole School Counselor at Marshall Elementary for the past 7 years. We can imagine being a counselor at an elementary school is chaotic at times, but Molly takes on the role with grace. She puts the needs of her students above all else, making sure they are the number one priority in every setting. Going above and beyond teaching, Molly makes sure her students have breakfast every morning and even supplies shoes to kids who are in need. She ensures that each classroom fosters a productive, caring, and positive learning experience for her students. Monika teaches k-5th at Dyersville Elementary School and is known for providing a supportive environment for all of her students. Congratulations to our August Teacher of The Month, Nicole Hilby! Mrs. Hilby teaches Social Studies to the 6th grade at Roosevelt Middle School in Dubuque. She has been praised for her kindness towards her students and her fellow staff members. Whenever you are having an off day, Nicole is there for her students to confide in. Her classroom is a welcoming environment that allows her students to thrive. She excels as an educator with the patience and attentiveness she has towards struggling students. What a great day at Anderson-Weber Toyota This gift will get crayons and markers and all the great school supplies into the hands of the kids in the Tri-States on the first day of school! This is Anderson Weber's second year supporting the Apples for Students: Fil the Bag project and we couldn't be more greatful!

Congratulations to our June Teacher of The Month, Lindsey Backhaus! Lindsey teaches the 5th grade at Eisenhower Elementary in Dubuque. Lindsey is known for her caring and respectful demeanor and for being an overall outstanding teacher. Her students look forward to her class because she makes learning fun whenever she can. Things can get chaotic in a room full of 5th graders, but Lindsey always stays cool calm and collected. She is dedicated to giving her students a fun and nurturing environment for learning with the support they need. We are honored to say that Anderson-Weber Toyota was recently awarded the Friend of Education award by the Dubuque Education Association for the 2023-2024 School year! The Dubuque Education Association also selects a Teacher of the Year who works in the Dubuque community. Third grade teacher at Kennedy Elementary, Jeremy Hoffman, was this school years winner! Along with being named Teacher of The Year, Jeremy will also be driving our Teacher of The Month Prius for the month and receive $250 to use in his classroom. Thank you to the Dubuque Education Association for this recognition, and congratulations to Jeremy for his outstanding work as an educator!

Toyota has been recognized for a second year for their efforts of setting the standard when it comes to civic duties. Investing in the communities they do business with as well building strong relationships with the communities members is a high priority.
