We’re excited to share our newly refreshed brand identity! For 50 years, Anderson Mason Dale has been committed to creating a better world through the purposeful design of our shared places. This guiding principle, along with honoring our studio's legacy and love for Colorado, informed our identity's evolution. In partnership with @Pentagram, we established a brand strategy, refined our name, updated our logo and designed a robust set of brand standards that include an expansive color palette, new typefaces, and multiple design templates. These tools will enhance our interactions and collaborations with our peers and partners, as we create places that matter, together.

"Joey Carrasquillo, Principal at Anderson Mason Dale Architects, explained, 'The whole sustainability agenda became a significant narrative for the City of Northglenn. It’s still a relatively young city, and they are seeking identity and saw this project as an opportunity to begin shaping a path for that identity to take shape.' The new building is fully electric and net-zero, meaning it generates as much or more energy as it uses. It features a 196-kilowatt rooftop photovoltaic array consisting of 476 solar panels and utilizes a variable refrigerant flow (VRF) mechanical system for heating and cooling. CLT is a relatively new building material in the U.S., typically used in square structures. However, the design team demonstrated CLT's versatility in non-traditional geometries, making the Northglenn City Hall a model for future CLT projects." https://lnkd.in/gCYRa-uM

Congratulations to Anderson Mason Dale Architects, which received an AIA Colorado Design Award Honorable Mention for its Chimney Rock National Monument visitor center as part of the organization’s annual Colorado Design Awards. Located in southwestern Colorado, the center is the perfect welcome to the monument’s astounding landmarks. We're thrilled to see the recent article in The New York Times highlighting the National Western Center and CSU Spur campus!
The National Western Center and CSU Spur were in The New York Times on Sunday, as part of a story about the redevelopment of stockyards and similar spaces in cities across the US. Nice work Brad Buchanan! It's great to see the project (and some lovely pics of Spur) in the NY Times!

More wonderful news! We are honored to receive an AIA Montana Design Honor Award for the Bozeman Public Safety Center with our long-time design partners at ThinkOne Architects. A project nearly a decade in the making, we’re grateful for the trusted partnership we’ve cultivated between our two studios. The Bozeman Public Safety Center relocates the City’s Police and Municipal courts from a mid-century remodeled high school to a state-of-the-art, multi-use civic building that exemplifies the City of Bozeman’s stewardship and commitment to community. Home to three civic institutions, Law Enforcement, Municipal Courts, and Fire Safety, the building integrates program, site, and civic language to communicate the dual nature of public buildings as safe and welcoming, efficient and highly functional, formal and inviting, secure and transparent. AIA Colorado and this year’s awards jury bestowed an Honorable Mention Design Award to Chimney Rock National Monument (CRNM) Visitor Center. Located in Archuleta County in southwestern Colorado, CRNM is a treasure in the public lands system, containing spiritual, historical, and scientific resources of great value and significance. The new Visitor Center frames the dramatic landscape for visiting patrons, including a new arrival entry, visitor parking, a pedestrian promenade, bus shuttle shelters, restrooms, a contact station, and an outdoor classroom. The plaza and shade structure create a clear entry sequence and furnish a distinct frame for Chimney Rock. Connecting indoor and outdoor spaces is a dominant design driver for the new Visitor Center, enabling access and connection to the site’s resources. We’re grateful to the AIA Colorado for hosting these awards and to our creative design partners! A week filled with great news! Last Thursday, AMD was honored with two 2024 AIA Colorado Design Awards / Honorable Mention. The first project was the Engineering Center North Wing Renovation at University of Colorado Boulder. The North Wing was an opaque box filled with outdated labs and building systems, serving as the loading dock for a major campus research facility. Over the years, the location evolved into an important access point, and AMD’s renovation provides a front door presence with light-filled student community spaces and state-of-the-art research labs. Thank you to all of our partners and to AIA Colorado! Dig Studio, Inc. Cator, Ruma & Associates S. A. Miro, Inc. NV5 Lerch Bates Inc.
