This 60,000 GSF instructional and research facility provides cutting-edge learning opportunities for students in STEM disciplines by integrating teaching and research labs in one building. Also included are new labs for leading-edge neuroscience, molecular biology, and nursing research, plus a specialized, dedicated vivarium space. People from across the community came out to the Grand Opening Celebration of the new hayu alqi uxyat building this weekend. The building hosts PPS's Multiple Pathways to Graduation alternative education programs. This new state of the art facility is now home to Alliance High School, DART/Kuumba School, Teen Parent Services and Childcare, and Reconnection Services and Center. The 85,000 SF multi-story building unites these programs in a central location providing comprehensive support to students as they work their way to graduation. hayu alqi uxyat is a Chinook word for Many Future Paths.

Greenscale Inc, a new indoor-agriculture venture in Boise Idaho, held its groundbreaking last week. Thanks to construction, engineering, and architect partners Andersen Construction, McMillen, Cushing Terrell, and the City of Boise in helping Greenscale reach a major milestone. More to come as we launch on construction of a 25000sqft facility designed to support technology development for and production of nutritious, sustainable food products.
