Here at &Evolve, we are passionate about people bringing the best of themselves to work and loving what they do. We therefore help organisations to do just this, we help develop great cultures through great leaders, to ultimately support overall organisational performance. We help organisations better understand their culture by using a qualitative and quantitative approach to identify the important issues on the minds of employees. This allows for more targeted actions to improve engagement. By using our three principles: Understand, Identify and Act, we help organisations understand how employees feel at work and what they experience. Then we use this information to identify the areas that require the greatest focus and pinpoint those areas that require action, working closely with the organisation to then carry out the actions and measure the impact. We understand every organisation is unique so our approach is tailored to each organisation. We also know that employees join organisations engaged, disengagement is what we do to people - it happens as a result of the experiences those people have at work. This is why a big part of our USP is our need to immerse ourselves in the culture of our clients, by using a scientific approach to analyse organisational data, to truly get to the heart of the issue, making sure any solution we provide will have real impact. Organisations we have worked with range from those in the private and public sector, including healthcare, retail, media, automotive as well as charities, government bodies and universities. From a Cultural Diagnostic to Employee Surveys, from Leadership Development to Coaching and Training, &Evolve can support you and your organisation across every aspect of the employee lifecycle.     Is your organisation owning the disengagement levels across your organisation, or are the employees being blamed for being disengaged? Whatever derogatory terms might be used for those disengaged from your engagement survey, I find there’s rarely any ownership about who made people disengaged. People join organisations with hope, that this will be the place where they can finally belong. Hope that this will be the place where they can really make a difference. Hope that this will be the place where they can show what they’re truly capable of. How did people suddenly become disengaged? Your organisation did that. The senior leaders and managers who represent your brand. Don’t ask people their views if all it does is confirm they’re of little value and you have the wrong people employed across your organisation. How many people is your organisation disengaging today? Here's how to be a supportive career coach: > Discover what makes your team tick. Understand their strengths, passions, and values. It's the secret to unlocking their potential! > If you are not sure where to start, try a gap analysis. This can highlight where they are now and identify where they need development. >Make one-to-ones a priority. Let your team drive these conversations. It's their time to shine and your chance to build stronger relationships. > Embrace the GROW model: Goal, current Reality, Options, Way forward. It's a simple yet powerful coaching tool.     Would you manage a remote team the same way you manage an in-office team? Leading remotely takes a mindset shift - it’s less about control and more about trust. You can’t just pop by someone’s desk, so communication has to be intentional, not just whenever you run into each other. When you get this right, remote teams can be just as (if not more) productive and engaged. Here’s what great remote managers do differently: ?? Trust over tracking - Focus on results, not hours. Give your team ownership and clear goals. ?? Communicate more, but don’t micromanage - No casual office chats? No problem. Use asynchronous updates, structured check-ins, and open forums to keep everyone aligned. ?? Culture won’t build itself - Without the office vibe, you have to be intentional. That’s why reflection is so important. Taking a step back helps us make sense of what’s working, what’s not, and how we really feel about our work. Without it, we risk staying stuck in the same patterns instead of improving and moving forward. So this weekend, hit pause for a moment. Ask yourself: ? What went well this week? ? What could I do differently next time? ? How am I actually feeling about my work? Slowing down isn’t a waste of time - it’s how we get the most out of what we do.
