Having cancer is hard. It impacts the person with cancer and their loved ones. Having cancer affects the physical, social, emotional and spiritual parts of life. According to a January 2024 article in CA: A Cancer Journal for Clinicians, an estimated 2,001,140 new cases of cancer will be diagnosed in the United States in 2024. This is equivalent to about 5,480 new cases per day.
