We aim to foster a community of students with similar interests in gaining comprehensive marketing experience. We introduce students to real-life, team-based project work where they serve as consultants while also learning about marketing principles. We have found that there is an abundance of students on Vanderbilt’s campus who are interested in marketing but are not connected to resources that allow them to foster that interest. Anchor Marketing can help bridge that gap!

    Last night, we kicked off 2025 in style at our Anchor Marketing launch event at the Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management! ?? From our client reveal to an inspiring Q&A with Vanderbilt alum @jonathanmartz, sweet treats from Baked Bear ??, and diving into all things Anchor Marketing, it was a great night! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, both new and returning members! ?? We’re so excited to welcome our new members and can’t wait to get started with team meetings next week as we begin working with our incredible new clients.

    Client Recap: Greenery Co. Our Greenery Co. team had an incredible semester tackling some of the restaurant industry's toughest challenges. Under the leadership of Project Manager Morgan Hirsch and Deputy Project Ava Winer, we analyzed Greenery Co.'s employment trends and identified key challenges impacting employee retention. Key deliverables included: ?? Data Analysis: We analyzed key trends in Greenery Co.'s employee retention and provided solutions on how to reduce turnover and the associated costs. ?? Core Challenges: Our team identified critical areas for improvement, which included addressing roadblocks in employee-employer communication, reshaping internal rhetoric to promote positivity, and adjusting onboarding procedures to improve employee retention. ?? Proposed Solutions: We developed actionable strategies, such as introducing employee surveys, creating mentorship programs, incentivizing retention, and improving communication protocols, to build a stronger workplace culture. Congratulations to the Greenery Co. team members for their hard work and innovative thinking this semester!

    Client Recap: Little Art House This semester, one of our Anchor Marketing teams had the incredible opportunity to work with Little Art House. Tasked with developing a comprehensive Franchise Marketing Strategy, the team delivered solutions and tools to help the organization expand its reach through franchising. Under the leadership of Project Manager Aidan McCormack and Deputy Project Manager Daniel Sak, the team crafted: ? A Franchise Benefits Package that outlines the tangible resources and support prospective franchisees can expect, helping to foster trust and confidence in their investment. ? A tailored Conversion Funnel to guide franchisees through the process, from initial awareness to onboarding, ensuring a smooth and strategic approach to recruitment. ? An analysis of market trends and industry benchmarks to position Little Art House competitively within the growing personal services franchise segment. The recommendations focused on extending Little Art House’s strong brand identity, fostering authentic connections, and providing franchisees with the tools and mentorship needed to bring creativity into their communities. A huge thank you to members of this team for their hard work and strategic thinking. We’re proud to support Little Art House’s mission and their exciting journey toward franchising success.

    Client Recap: Centennial Park Conservancy This semester, the Centennial Park Conservancy team, led by Project Manager Lucas Li and Deputy Project Manager Spencer Eyen, collaborated to craft a strategic plan for enhancing the park’s monthly donation program. Their work focused on attracting younger donors, fostering long-term community engagement, and ensuring a sustainable funding stream for one of Nashville's most beloved green spaces. The team conducted a peer analysis of successful donation models from organizations across the country, identifying best practices for donor engagement, digital experiences, and innovative giving features. They provided tailored recommendations, including: ?? A tiered membership program with unique benefits for recurring donors ?? Interactive giving options like “plant-a-tree” initiatives and commemorative installations ?? A revamped digital donation page for seamless navigation and transparency ?? Social media strategies to highlight the tangible impacts of donor contributions A huge thank you to members of this team for their dedication and creativity in delivering a comprehensive report that will help the Conservancy grow its community of lifelong supporters.

    Client Recap: Pilates Garage This semester, Anchor Marketing’s Pilates Garage Team, led by Project Manager Ben Hawley and Deputy Director Zihan Mei, tackled the challenge of converting first-time Class Pass users into loyal Pilates Garage customers. Through an in-depth analysis of new client data and conversations with Pilates Garage leadership, the team developed a comprehensive marketing strategy. Highlights include: ? Enhanced Trainer Bios: Personalized profiles to match clients with instructors who align with their fitness goals. ? Targeted Email Campaigns: Strategic follow-ups and promotional emails to boost client retention. ? Social Media Revamp: Content strategies to engage and grow the Pilates Garage community online. ? Branded Merchandise: Print-on-demand solutions to turn clients into brand ambassadors. The Pilates Garage team worked hard to propose solutions that will help Pilates Garage grow its loyal customer base and thrive in Nashville’s fitness community.     ?? What a start to the year it’s been for Anchor Marketing! Our Fall 2024 Launch was the largest event in Anchor Marketing history! It was great working with Alexis Coulter, M.Ed. and the Masters of Marketing at Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management to plan this event. Thank you to Dr. Jen Riley, DTM, Ph.D. for a deeply informative Q&A session to provide our group with important marketing knowledge that will serve as the foundation for our work. I cannot have imagined a better way to kick off our project work this fall! We had over 120 students sign up to join a team this semester—more than we ever anticipated! We even had to add an extra team to ensure everyone who wanted to be part of Anchor Marketing could get involved. Watching this organization grow in the last year from a small group of 6 students to where we are now has been incredibly rewarding. Last week each team conducted a site visit with their partner organization. Our members had fantastic conversations with our clients at the Centennial Park Conservancy, Greenery Co., The Pilates Garage, and Little Art House. Thank you to all of our partners who took the time to share their stories with our members. I couldn’t be prouder of how far we’ve come, and I’m beyond excited to continue leading such a passionate and talented group through the exciting projects we have lined up this semester. Thank you to everyone who has helped get us to this point. I can't wait for what’s to come!

    Congrats to Anchor Marketing for a successful year of working with Glow.RSVP. We delivered a comprehensive final presentation to the founder last week recapping our work throughout the year. In 23 meetings, we accomplished 8 major projects including a press release, social media content, social media advertising, a brand identity proposal, a brand ambassador program, a user journey map analysis, website enhancements, and business to business strategy. These projects encompassed over 40 deliverables. Thanks to everyone has been involved with project! We are excited to see what's next for Glow.
