I BEAT THE STORM!!! Nicaragua. 2022. Alone! I decided i'm gonna ride a motorcycle cross country. Mind you i've never ridden in my life.? After 4 days and 2 crashes,? One of them being meattempting to cross a river and not checking the depth, leading to being swept up by the current together with my motorcycle, until a local dragged me out saving my life.? After an eerie hospital visit reserved for a country like Nicaragua, I headed back out.? This time, I am going from the southernmost tip to the northernmost border with Honduras.? After a few days and the best time of my life, I rewarded myself with a hike/swim through Somoto Canyon, and I decided to head back to the city of Lyon to drop off my bike and take the journey to El Salvador.? It's 4 Pm and I have a few hours to reach my destination and make the bus.? A storm is brewing.? As i look up at a sea of black menacing clouds racing across the fields ahead of me, i have only one thought: OH NO! I had 2 options: 1. Brave it. 2. Stay put and miss my ride.? I pull over and call my parents, letting them know the situation, 1. I am not stopping here, and 2. Please pray for me.? I made my decision. I will BEAT the STORM Risks must be taken for achievements to be had.? On came the bathing suit and sandals, B/c HEY! "If you can't beat 'em, JOIN EM" The raindrops felt like bullets piercing my skin, I momentarily lost control a few times but Thank G-d,I made it back safely, albeit with some very scary moments.? I won't be doing that again :) But i learnt something important that day: Life is no fun without risks! What's the worst that can happen (lol) Fear is paralyzing, risks are revitalizing!Good luck Ya'll- Leviathan
