Meet Ellen Block! Ellen joined the crew in August as a general 2D Animator and Clean-Up artist. Their skills quickly showed as they took on shots with intense emotion and an eye for subtlety. Their work demonstrates a skill for detail and the ability to convey complex expressions through just a few frames. It's been an honor having them on our crew and we're very excited to see their work on the big screen!

Manuel Alveyra joined the crew back in January 2023 as a 2D Animator. His exemplary work soon brought him to being the 2D Animation Lead, guiding the rest of the crew through their shots, giving valuable feedback and resources to bring the highest of quality to Submersed. It's been a joy having Manu on the crew and we're very excited to see his career grow. His skill and dedication is clear through all his work and has brought Submersed to new depths.

"Fred" is the third creature in our upcoming film, Sumbersed. Usually found roaming the oceans of Vita I in packs of 10-20, these little guys are always on the hunt for food. Fred was modeled by Ashley Pulliam with textures done by Tessa Kissick and materials done by our director Ector Troncoso. The hand painted textures of our creatures is what truly brings together the world of Submersed and it's captivating visuals.

Our second creature we wanted to show off from our upcoming film, Submersed, is nicknamed "Zach". This Cambrian explosion inspired cephalopod swims near the surface of Vita I. This creature was modeled by Emma Fulkerson , with textures by Liz Denn. They both worked with Director Ector Troncoso to create the final look of "Zach". Ector created much of the hand painted normals for this and all of the creatures. #indiefilm #creaturedesign
