It is with an incredibly heavy heart that we share news of the sudden passing of Anacapa team member Kathryn Parten. We are all devastated by the reality of a beautiful soul taken way too soon. Kathryn was an invaluable member of Anacapa Partners for the past 4 1/2 years, and is the only person ever to hold the position of Analyst and then Associate in the firm. Her energy and positive outlook were infectious - she saw the best in everyone and every situation, and sincerely couldn’t wait to support all of our partners in their pursuit of great outcomes. We always knew when she was in the room, exuding pure excitement for our work, our relationships, and the opportunities that were in front of us. Kathryn’s dedication to excellence, first as a professional singer, then as a student at Stanford University, and ultimately in her support of anything and everything at Anacapa was infectious. We are going to miss her, and we are holding her parents Bill and Kathryn close in our hearts during this unimaginable period. Please say a prayer for them as they navigate a tragic loss.
