#MiddleSchoolMonday Big thanks to Officer Nieves for visiting our campus and leading a "What It Takes" session on teamwork with our 6th graders! He shared how teamwork is essential in school, at home, and on the job as a police officer. Our Dreamers were actively engaged, brainstorming situations where they use teamwork and asking questions about his career. #SeniorSaturday 12th grade Dreamers took on a powerful project, each choosing a topic to address the question, "How do we prevent ___________ from causing [further] harm to society?" Students tackled issues close to their hearts, presenting both the problems and possible solutions on topics like fossil fuels, mental health, excessive screen time, fire safety, housing vouchers, and cleft lip/palate.
